Okay I admit I've never seen Logan's Run, but I did see a reference to it in a Simpsons episode and really, that's all that matters isn't it? I've had a good run, and there'll be plenty of reminiscing as time progresses but to answer the main question of "Why", it's because 10 years of making webcomics takes it out of you, and a decade is a good time to give my baby a proper send-off. While this storyline progresses, the normal weekly schedule will roughly apply but strips may take longer depending on my free time situation, as the story will progressively take more time to produce.
